Mona Evelyn Frederick

Mona Evelyn Frederick,  87, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home in Key Largo,  Florida surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 30, 1935 to Joe and Eva Grindrod in New York City. She attended Public schools in the city, where she developed a lifelong love of reading. She met her husband to be when he was working as a Singing Cowboy at the Cimarron Dude Ranch in Putnam Valley, NY. They fell in love and were married on February 5th, 1955.  She was a loving and devoted wife to Carl Frederick, her best friend and treasured companion, for 68 years.  He expressed that she was a brilliant and beautiful charmer and had the biggest heart of anyone he's ever known. ♥️  Her friends likened her to an Angel.

Her three daughters, their spouses, and grandchildren were her most beloved and precious treasures.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter,  Johanna Schiefer. 

She is survived by her husband, Carl:  her three beautiful daughters: Carla Frederick-Schiefer (John), Wendy Frederick (Carla Lefley), and Heidi Frederick-Hancock (David): 7 wonderful grandchildren, Gabriela Alcala (Jose), Kelly Schiefer, Roan Frederick, Kayleigh Lefley, Keenan Bessemer, and Heather Hudgings(Dennis): two amazing Great-grandchildren: Bruno (Alcala) and Vanessa Hudgings. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date by her local Jehovas Witness friends for her  immediate family.

She was loved and will be greatly missed by all. Kelly Lenzen
