Dorothy Sena

Dorothy (Dottie) Jean Sena, 91, of Islamorada, Florida passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 in her own home. She was born on December 7, 1927 in Walton, New York to George and Aetna Neer. She was married to Louis Thomas Sena, Sr.

She is survived by her four children, Diane, Marylou, Phillip, Lou and his wife Kristin; and six grandchildren, Nicholas, Selena, Drew, Danno, Kaya and Logan.

Dottie was head nurse of the Obstetrics department at Baptist Hospital, where she loved her work with newborns. She retired to Islamorada where she worked with Phillip to run The Caribbean Resort. She enjoyed welcoming new and returning guests at the resort, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Dottie will be laid to rest at the Matecumbe Memorial Garden in Islamorada. The family is having a private memorial. The family is not having a public memorial at this time.
